You are sensible in not taking this up on online forums, because in doing so you might provoke fruitless, uncomprehending attacks. It is a luxury to be viewing this farce from France, which may free your thoughts a little (but there are probably entirely different problems there). In any case, I fully agree with your analysis.

We have evolved from all that. No one actually turns into a wolf, psychologically speaking. It's not a prejudice, read some Kant.
